Terebellid worms(spaghetti worms) are found mainly in live rock. The algae is probably a macro that is growing on your rock and is beneficial. Heck, Micro to some level is beneficial in a reef tank as well to some degree!
You can keep the carbon filter, I though you were adding carbon in a micron bag, so that you could add as much or little as you desire, which coinsides with your livestock bioload!
Their are any types of marine worms, mostly beneficial to a reef tank. Some remain in the live rock while other burrow in your sand bed!
Conch and Tiger Tails are yes, beneficial for cleaning and aerating your substrate. The Fighter conch doesn't doesnt get as big as the Queen and don't mix them together as they will fight!!! Same with the nocturnal Tiger Tail, they spend most of the day in hidding then coming out after the light go off to look for food in the area.
if either one of these does get bigger than you would want, take them to a pet shop and exchane then-happens all the time!

 

I agree with you Pisces. For a 14 gallon, I would stick to less specific feeders like nassarius snails to keep the substrate clean.

thanks you guys! all this is going to help a lot, i will keep it in mind.
turbo saw the green stringy things on my rocks and he says that they probably were on the live rock when he got them for me, and that when we scrubbed them we probably removed the visible ones. since we didn't boil them we didnt kill them, and that why, a week later, they're showing up. mystery gone!
my tank is getting ugly already! its really funny because when i get home eveyday its worse and i get so excited, and everybody's like "whats the excitement? it looks nasty!" i guess they just dont get it... i love it!
i got my first movement, i've seen three bugs so far... ;D

Your tank is doing just fine!
LOL, little bugs are just copepods!! Your gonna have hundreds of them, if you already dont. It has to get ugy for it to get pretty, so just give it time!
