rainsford goby help please!!!

    i have a rainsfor goby hes in my 55 gallon tank. he usaly hides under my live rock, i cheacked on him today and hes not looking good at all. he very skinny hes not swimming but hes still alive.i have him in a small breeder net in the tank. and feeding him artipods. he ate like 2 bites. any sugestions?

    What else do you have to try and feed it? Sounds like it will eat, just doesn't like what you are offering maybe?

    try mixing the food with garlic... its the wonder drug of the fish world

    i dont think its alive any more =[ ugghh i was to late. my first loss in this tank. i think he was afraid of my clowns?

    i have a garlic but what am i supost to do with it? is there some garlic thats like luquid?

    Keep him in the net so he's protected from the clowns and you can monitor food intake.

    If he's bent, he might have an injured spine.

    They are a tough beginner fish IMO. They are sand sifters AND also require algae in their diets. I had a pair a few years ago and they are very timid as well and need a lot of good hiding places. It is possible it is trying to hide from the clowns if they are aggressive and will stay hidden and starve to death if thats the case too (not the best tankmates IMO).
