Randall goby

My new goby who i have had for about 5 days now, and it has not attempted to make a burrow at all..My params are amazing, things are already starting to grow.

What could be making this guy not want to burrow? all my other gobies burrow in the first-2nd day.

 

I'm pretty sure they don't burrow, but rather live in a burrow made by the shrimp they're paired with.

 

Okay, i am getting a pistol shrimp soon..and i have seen them in burrows, so thats why i was wondering...So your saying once i get a pistol, they live in the burrow with it?

 

I'm interested in this as well Will a Randall's goby decimate pod populations?

 

No, they eat flakes and reg fish food, frozen..mysis...well atleast mine does.
