    The ole sandsifting crab. He doesn't show up much, but it's interesting when he does. Extends feathers to feed.

    We use to catch those on the beach in Florida and use a bait for surf-fishing for blues, yellow tail, and whiting....

    I have seen them for sale and wondered how they would really do in the tank as I've always seen them living only at the tidal line on the beach...in the little ocean diving I did while growing up there, I'd not noticed them out in deeper water...but they did make great bait...

    Very nice. One of the cool things I like about this hobby is the ability to obtain livestock that remains out of sight for periods of time and graces me with their presence on occasion. I know I appreciate noticing my 'invisible' friends quite a bit when they decide to come out say 'hi'. I will have to look into obtaining one of these. Fascinating.

    I thought John at reefcleaners.org gets them sometimes. .I got mine off of ebay. Not worth ordering by themselves cuz the shipping.
    I had 4 total.. one died in shipping.
    They stir up the sand like crazy when the do move.
