    It's designed for marine tanks.

    The stand looks very nice!

...however I would seriously consider constructing a 2x4, 2x6, or similar frame inside the stand to support the weight of your tank, water, rock, sand, and lighting canopy.

I am not sure how a 3/4" plywood skin will perform under a load of 1000 lbs...

I have faith it will hold the weight. Just look at all the manufacturers stands. They are built out of MDF in the same matter. The cabinet grade plywood is much stronger and I have a bunch of screws holding it together. I seen a 220 gal the other day fully stocked and been up and running for 3 years built the same way as i built mine. Still holding up strong.

I order my LEDs the other day and here is what I ordered. I bought the 90g kit from RapidLED. Here is the link for it. Standard 90g Tank Dimmable Kit - Rapid LED

I changed it up a little bit though. I changed out the red Leds with the Philips Rebel ES 660nm Deep Red LED(suggestion made by reefermadness from my local club). I added another driver so I could have my colors all separated. I also add 2 more whites and the dual fan kit to keep them cool.

The whites on drivers 1 and 2. Running at 1200mA
The blues on drivers 3 and 4. Running at 1200mA
The UV, green and red on driver 5. Running at 700mA

Here is the layout of 1 of 2 heat sinks I am looking at doing. The kit comes with the heat sinks already predrilled and tapped so I am hoping to be able to keep this layout.. Let me know what you think.

Its been a long time since I have updated my build. I decided to go with a different return pump. I couldnt fit the BH pump in just right so I decided to sell it and go with the Waveline DC 5000. Its rated for 1350 gph. It has 6 speeds and is super quite. Here is a picture of it.

I have finished my led build and I am very happy with the outcome. They work great. I had to change the lay out a little bit. I at first had it laid out with 3 leds by 7 leds. I changed it to 4 leds by 5 leds because the heat sink was drilled and tapped that way. And I also added 2 more UV leds.

I have added waterproof connectors on so if I have to remove it, it will be a little easier.
