    So im at my lfs today picking up some items for my oscars and see this perahna (i think).

    They are trying to sell this to me to put in with my 4 inch oscars.
    Is this a red belly?
    Thought these where illegal. Im in wyoming btw and my lfs is a petco, unfortunatly

    That looks like a S Natteri to me - red bellied Piranha

    not ideal to keep with anything else, IMO , even sick relatives are on the menu

    LOL Thats kinda what i figured, the thought never crossed my mind but my lfs wasnt possitive thats whatit was so i figured i would post it here and verify. This forum is the bomb so much info, so many knowlegable poeple and all friendly even to us very few freshy guys.

    Definitely a red belly. There pansies in home aquariums and often very skittish. But still a cool fish nonetheless.
