I sure I was the one that said that. I had one, and he worked on my GHA. Not as well as my Blue Spotted Sea Hare. I got both at roughly the same time and it seemed to wipe out the problem ( I also did a couple of other things but these were the biggest)

    yes, yes you were :D

ive read some things about this fish and i see that it is pretty agressive?
i havent found much into which care is concerned.
other than the fact that they are omnivores and some other general stuff.

I had a 29gal, he was added to the tank with two clowns, and a coral beauty. i never had an issue with him and my other fish. never touched my corals (either did my CB). i may just gotten lucky. But I loved that fish, Frank was a fat little algae eating beast! It was kool to see his lip marks all over my class when he was eating the diatom algae.

I just did a quick google search and many of the things talk about how bold and aggressive the red lips are. I have no personal experience with them.

I dont think they are 50/50. I only have experience with just the one. I think I got really lucky...like my mandarin that ate frozen food. In hind sight...

but to get rid of your algae, check your parm. that inculeds your phosphates. How old is your tank? and pics always help. While all that happens you can add a blue spotted Sea Hare (if your tank can take it) IMO

Yeah mine is a full mixed reef... And it's about 10months old.
I think I should just stay away from It.
