The outside of the pod will get black and woody. Kind of look like a ripe avacado.

Yeah I think mines are die'n, When I got them one of them was sprouting a leaf now it's turning black. Both of them are turning like brownish/blackish, What should I do? Or what can I do?

I've never been able to turn them around once they get that way. But like telgar mentioned maybe John will know what to do. You could email or pm him if you don't want to wait.

I got mine from john too and most of mine were black on top. 2 of them were really bad, the others ( I got about 6 of them too) were ok and only 1 is doing good. But I got them that way.
