red tube worm

    I just started seeing these pop up in several places.

    I want to make sure they're only beneficial, but I primarily want to know if they'll get big or stay small.

    I've counted at least 4 of them so far.

    EDIT: in photobucket it is circled... not showing up here for some reason... the red is sticking out of the white in the middle of the picture. If you look at the opening between the rocks, it's is on the right edge of the left rock at the top of that rock.

    they stay tiny and are beneficial. If you have an external filter, you prob have loads in there. Some fish will eat them like butterflys etc...

    Very cool to have. Mine usually show up in my refugium and not my main tank. 100% beneficial.

    I have at lest 3 in my tank. They are about 1/4" now, I don't think they get bigger. Love them.
