    I just added 80# of live sand and nearly 100gal of water. Obviously, my water is SOOOO cloudy I can't see more than an inch or so in the tank. I've read mixed reviews, but in order to speed up the "de-clouding" process, should I keep my sump/pump, powerheads and skimmer moving? Or should I shut it all off and just wait a few days for everything to settle?

    THANKS In Advance!!! ::)

    Welcome to 3Reef. If you turn off your pumps, it will settle quicker. However, once you fire them back up, you will still get cloudiness again. Not as much, but you'll get some. Until the bacterial biofilms from your initial cycle start making the sand grains "sticky", you'll have to put up with some degree of cloudiness.
