Ok been looking at these fixtures for a while and im probably going to take the plunge being that these are right in the budget however does anyone know a mounting system I can use with these? perhaps a rail kit of some sorts? I do not want to hang them!! the house I am in is a rental and I would just like to avoid a head ache lol any sugestions?

do you have a hood? if not, hanging isn;t a big deal. Pick up a kit at home depot on the cheap and leave 2-4 small holes no one will know

search for "conduit pipe" here on 3reef. This quote of someone else on another forum:

"Well, I watched a couple of youtube video's on bending conduit, then went to home depot and bought 2 - 10ft conduit pipes for $10 a pc, pulled a pipe bender off the shelf and bent them right there in the aisle. Took like 3mins total. Also bought conduit straps and end caps for $2.50 per bag-6pcs and a can of flat black paint. Perfect hangers for my powermodule and they look good too. All said and done for $30. Now I just cut the end that attaches to the back of my stand to achieve the desired height of the hangers. Excellent diy light hangerwith nice clean look. "

I will be getting my 96w bridgelux any time this week. This is exactly what I'm going to do.

I used L brackets for mine. Worked out good. And only cost about 4 bucks.

The reef breeders lights have a supplied wire hook up and would just need something from ceiling to hang it. The wire hangers that came with were too long in my case. I bought these ratchet straps on amazon. Aweosome!!!!!! I can raise and lower lights very easily.

Love them. Love them. I haven't even been above 35% blues and 30% whites. Been raising 5% a week. I did crank them up for fe secs to 100% both just to see it. Looks really good. Love the blue look. About 14k I had to guess color temp. Could even make it really close to 20k if kept whites 20% lower than blues.

I used to have power compacts. 10k and actinic lights.

Love my new 72w Cree fixtures.
