Reef Octo HOB Skimmers

I am a total skimmer newb, so for a first skimmer for my tank I am looking at these three, they are all rated for at least twice my tank volume (55 gallons) I have read reviews on these and have my mind set on one but if you guys could help out since they all have seperate pumps. I know some 3reefers were looking at the LX1000S. So, which do you think is best? (and yes, they come in other colors)

I've got the lx-1000s on my 55 and has worked great for me so far. The 2000 would probably be a too much for your tank and as such, probably not as efficient as the 1000 would be. I haven't read too much about the xp but it does use the same pump as the 1000s and should work well.

Looks like my Christmas gift this year....
although the candy apple red is....shall we say....striking?
On second thought hold the red altogether, I will get the black one or blue one.
