Hey, I just got this skimmer and put it in last night. Any idea how I should adjust the air intake and the flow output on it. I know that as I change the flow output it will change how high up the foam goes inside the skimmer. Where should that be???

    Thanks alot

When I ran my external version of the 150 I would block the air line and adjust the water level to be right where the neck come apart from the body. This seemed to be a good starting point. So with the air line block I could take the skimmer cup off with out havnig any water overflowing. Hope this helps.

I just got a skimmer the other day aswell. Does it take a while before it starts making foam or did I do something wrong?

First off hope you have a saltwater tank, as skimmers don't work in freshwater. They should be making bubbles right away. Will need more info, what type of skimmer do you have?
