    I have the xp1000 sss . Completely silent, skims like a champ. My buddy has a nwb150. Also a great skimmer, pump is a little louder than the bubble blaster pump on the XP. Both are great, but the XP SSS series is worth the little bit of extra coin.

    I swear this is the truth! I've noticed lately that most anything I've ordered for my tank or most recently my pond does not come with step by step instructions for assembly. Just pictures of the parts and finished piece. There are pages and pages of extraneous information in a ton of languages but no step by step - what is up with that??

    I've had 2 Bh100-f hob skimmers, a SRO-2000xp, and a SRO-3000sss and love them all. Only other skimmer I would get is a Bubble King.
