Ive came to a decision. I am getting 5 fish in total. I know that would be a lot for a 20 gallon but i have a 20 gallon sump. With that being said, i was wondering what fish you recommend i get. Im getting 1 tomorrow, 1 the week after, one the week after ext. My thoughts are a royal gramma, a 6 line wrasse, a clownfish, and i need help with the rest. I need reef safe fish, they cant get too big when their older. Maybe a green chromis. Any suggestions? i want a nice color variety. With the fish i already picked im getting, thats a pretty good variety already.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Heres some tank updates. You can see in the sump how i directed the overflowed water from the tank straight into the filter so it instantly gets filtered.

I had two Green Chromis, but they lived for less than 2 years. How about a Banggai Cardinalfish?

A yellow Watchman Goby is a good fish with minimal bioload. Maybe get a matching pair of clowns instead of only one clown. Get some eggcrate from Home Depot to cover your tank for a cheap price and get a firefish. How about a dwarf angel? Hermit crabs, snails and cleaner shrimp are good. 20 gal tank is a tough size. Keep us posted with some new pics.

I would add the 6 line last, and the gramma next to last.. They can be cranky towards new tank mates.

What kind of clown? If it is a percula or a false perc, or a skunk clown, then you will be fine. Most of the other clowns get cranky towards other fish, especially if the tank is smaller.

Dwarf angels can turn into coral eaters. Buyer beware.
