reef safe? monster

trying to decide if its reef safe or not for my 30 gallon? its a 30 pound grass carp caught it yesterday! that really made my day cause it was going real crappy!

Congratulations that is an awesome fish - my PB for grass carp is only 14lb so to see this beast at over twice the size, is fantastic

Nice! Well i heard the rule of thumb was 1lb to 1 gallon. So yeah, go ahead and chuck it in your tank

 

gotta ask, WTH did you catch it with? I've caught carp with marshmallows on a small treble before if nothing else is biting it's actually pretty fun

 

Nice catch!! I snagged a 23 pounder with a lure in a large farm pond,they put up an amazing fight!! I caught him on a grub twister tail with a spinner on it(i was fishing for largemouth)

 

hahaha yeah i figured you would move it. i just figured it would be funny! and yeah this was a monster!!! i caught it on bread! i fish with bread 24/7. i use 30lb line. this was my 3rd huge one in a year and a half! sorry i havent responded much i have been out of town! and yeah i was an amazing fight! Grass carp, bass, striper, walleye, and catfish are what i like to catch the most cause thats what is around kansas. i love sharing all my fishing photos and stories! so i will probably start a thread soon!!!! so you all better start finding them BS stories that we like to hear and start gettin your photos!!
