My Flame Angel jumped out of the back of my canopy through a hole (don't ask but I swear I'm puttin up egg crate) so I am thinking of a replacement. Sure I could get another Flame but wheres the fun in that. So 3reef help me decide, what are some other good Pygmy Angels for a reef (I have LPS, SPS, clams) or any other fish compatible with those listed in my sig.

No dwarf angel is "reef safe". They're all "reef safe as long as they don't get hungry".

Yeah the Potter's are pretty and I like the Coral Beauty also. Thanks for your sympathy he was my Bday present last year had him almost a year. I think he jumped out when I was rearranging all my coral last Tue when the RE order came but I didnt notice him missing til later that night, then I found him on the floor

Sorry about your loss! I've heard Coral Beauties are pretty much "reef safe," as well as African Flamebacks. They are very pretty and considered "reef safe."

You have a big enough tank that you could get a full size angel. There are several that are considered completely reef safe.

I thought about an Emperor but have heard horror stories of them eating clams. What other full size angels are possible?

I would not consider emporators to be reef safe. If you want larger fairly reef safe angels, stick with the Genicanthus Genus. I.e. Bellus, Watanabe, Lamark, etc

I have had good luck so far with my Coral Beauty. Potter's angels are actually tougher to keep then other angels. Cherub angels are also a good choice, but they can get aggressive as they grow.

I have a false lemonpeel... it 'nips' at almost everything... not enough to kill anything, but it likes to taste and sample things here and there... even though they are mostly algae eaters, they can do this when they're 'hungry'. I don't see him do it once he's fed, though, which is why I like to feed at least once per day.
