Does anyone have the 32" fixture from reefbreeders? I'm going to order this when income taxes arrive but was just curious if anyone had one. I would be interested in PAR readings as my tank is 24" deep. If I'm not going to get good enough penetration, I will go with 400 watt MH.

Some reefers from another forum have a few pictures of what they will "somewhat" look like, since they used a custom layout of leds. The model is called the IT2080 from the OEM company.

The beauty of Reefbreeders is the tailored spectrum, and the US warranty you'll get, for just about the same price if you were to order one from China directly. An lcd controller, moonlights, premium hanging kit, one power cord, and IR remote control are awesome for the price.

Got mine on saturday and set it up over my 40 breeder (standard layout, 90 degree optics). Other than the remote being broken everything is great. I know it is overkill for a 40 breeder but I figure it saves me the expense of having to buy another light if I ever upgrade to a bigger tank. I don't have any way to measure PAR so I can't help there but here are two pictures (sorry for the crappy cell phone shots). I have them hung about 3 inches above the water because my wife didn't like the light spillage when I had them higher. Overall the fixture is great although I am noticing somewhat of a spotlight with the red and green. I may try and remove the optics to see if that helps. I'm not sure if I can without voiding the warranty because there are 2 stickers on the sides that say void if removed.

Check to see if there is a plastic piece that you need to pull out from the remote battery.

If you are hanging the light that low, remove the optics on the red and green. They should be ok with you doing that.

Unfortunately the remote arrived cracked. I'm checking with Reefbreeders to make sure its ok to open the light fixture up. Does anyone know if the optics are easy to remove or are the glued on?

With your fixture that low on the tank, I would assume you would get some spotlighting. That looks cool though. Please post more pics. I'm sold, I would just like some par info.

Im getting one of these for my 40 breeder with my taxes as well. Im new to LEDS, I was going to get the 32... do you think the 24 would be a better option for a 40??
