They are saying that the 32" will work fine over a 4 ft tank. I would think that the 32" would be a bit of wasted light but if it were me, I would get one in the case I upgrade tanks later.

Thanks. I was thinking the same thing. Plus it will be installed on top of my canopy, so light spillage should be minimal.

So I am looking at either this light or 2 of the d120s for my 75 gallon. I'm leaning towards the 32" but I have a center black plastic brace. Would I be better off just going with the 2 d120s?

From what I understand, there should be enough light that the brace won't matter. It sure won't melt like it would under MH. I have that brace as well and still intend on getting the single 32".

yeah according to Logan at reefbreeders the center brace won't hinder the light at all, I too am getting the 32" light, I was going to get 2 d120s but I thought for the extra money I would be better off getting something with just one plug and controllable.

I'm hoping to get mine in the next couple of weeks

Thanks guys and ya I had the same thought. For only about $90 more the controller and only 1 unit seems like a great deal.

Another question if anyone has this light. What does the hanging kit look like?

Its an adjustable steel one, like you would get with maxspect, ecotech, etc.

Could anyone chime in on wether or not the 32" fixture would support SPS on a 48" long 24" deep tank?

So from what i'm gathering about LED lighting they must be mounted fairly high above the tank? I've been thinking about LED's for my new tank but I have a canopy that is only about 12" tall.
