    I have a question i have a 10 gallon reef tank with pH at 8.2 no nitrate or nitrite and i have a calcium level at 340 with a akal at 7.7 i was wondering can i leave my reefbrite mini magnum 24/7 its a 2 led 6w light???!? HELP PLEASE:confused: i also have a green frog spawn,purple hammer coral, yuma mushroom,and green star polyps. I need to know if i can leave it on 24/7 because i am doing this now and i dont want to kill my corals.

    24/7? Why would you leave your lights on? Corals need time to sleep :) jk but serously invest kin a timer. Your gunna get algae outbreaks.

    Also, you need to raise your cal and alk for the LPS corals. What's your mag and SG/salinity readings?

    I agree.. That is like putting you in a room & having spotlights on 24/7 & people pushing you around all day & night to simulate water current. Not very fun is it.. Live stock just like us need time to rest. You are just creating problems.

    Also, your CA is too low & willing to bet so is your MG. What are your MG and salinity?? When dosing, be VERY careful & do it VERY slowly! You only have a 10gal tank & you do not have room for error. How old is your setup?
