So it did not take nearly as long to put together as I had thought it would. Directions are kind of confusing but they work, the most confusing thing was the pipes came put together so Im looking for certain shapes not realized some of the work had already been done.

Now the hard part, I cant get it to work! I plug it in and the pump works. There are two tubes coming from the pump, one is connected to another blue tube and then to the top of some valve thing, the other has the silencer on top of it. I tried pinching them off to start the siphon but cant seem to get it. If this because it can not run with FW?? I filled up a tube with FW to test it on and get it going so I am not sure if this is the problem or not. When I pinch the hose the pump pumps water from the pump chamber to the return chambers and then when I release it raised back up but not enough to completely cover the pump. Then it just gurgles and spits a little here and there.

    What am I doing wrong??

It came with the instructions thats how I got it put together. I couldnt get it to prime right though. Everytime the power cuts out am I going to have to reprime the pump??

To get mine primed I would suck the tube with the silencer until water came up. Nothing like salt water in your mouth. But mine was a BH-1000 so I dont know if its the same.

Hmm I thought about that and actually attempted it but not until water came up. Maybe I will have to try that. I think the pumps are the same pumps so priming should be similar. Once it is primed and on the tank running do you need to reprime it everytime power cuts out and goes back on or only if you let the water level drop too low?
