When using a refractometer does it matter what the light source is, sunlight, flourescent, incandescent etc. Just happened to think about it

Sunlight is the best...it comes out more clear, but when its at night..i just look into a light from the fan or something and it works fine.

I've noticed a white light works well but I dont think you would get variable results with other lighting sources

Doesn't matter...as long a you get light through the prizm and you can see the readings.
