Refractometer......WHICH ONE ?

Thanks alot. I also read where ro/di water isn't being used to calibrate anymore. The stores are saying a salinity solution. Do you do this?

 

SALINITY MONITOR CAL FLUID 53.0MS is what I use to calibrate.

My refractometer with ATC. Never had a problem or had to calibrate it in over a year so far...

 

That one looks identical to the one I bought. The case, the layout of the padding - even the sticker on the case.

If you get this one the PH meter is a pretty delicate instrument, i don't leave it in the tank although you could. I keep it cleaned after I use it and put it back in it's case. It requires a calibration before use. It comes with fluids need to do that.

 

That's the seller my good friend used. He too has no problems.

.....and that one looks, feels and works just like mine. I think I got my pH meter from them separately. I absolutely Love that thing.

 

We got a ph meter last week and it is wonderful. It is left in the sump so we can have readings recorded with the neptune controller. It's nice to know how dosing kalk changes the ph and never guessing anymore.
