Hi. I have to replace my 3 years old Refractometer. It starts showing different results every time when I use calibration fluid. Now you can buy digital ones like this one, Milwaukee. I know it costs double ( cheapest I found was 92$) but if works good and looks like eascier to work with, I would pay that price. Any experience and opinion? Th
anks. Oohhh. Problem with pick. I think it's MA887 by Milwaukee. I'll try pick later.

We've got a MA887, and we've been liking it a lot, altho we still use our old refractometer sometimes (just depends on where we are and which instrument is closest).

When you want absolute accuracy (such as for hypo), the digital meter is pretty foolproof.

Be aware that there's a SW model, which is obviously the one you want.

Thanks. So from your experience it is accurate? Worth the money?

This is a pick. But it says 0.002 sg accuracy.... regular refractometer has 0.001 i think
