So a few days after adding the LR to my display tank and mineral mud to my fuge the fuge has brown mold algae stuff growing all over very thing. The sides, the macro algae and the lr I put in there. But nothing has shown up on my display tank, still clean from everything.

Just wondering if all is well in the world of the tank.

    nitrite is at 1.6
    ammonia is at 0.1
    as of yesterday

Sorry I have been seeing other peoples fuge and they are pretty clean.
Should I clean it out or just keep letting it go super brown?

this seems to be the problem people have with mineral mud, a bunch of weird growths. i would hate to make you waste $40 but i would switch over to a ssb or a dsb if you want a clean fuge. thats just MO, i have no expierence with MM only what i have heard
