refugium mud

    I have a 30 gallon refugium and i put 2 mineral mud container and its great would buy anything but this product very good.

    it is very expensive though huh? More so than live sand. Local pet shop told me it wasn't worth it. Said it was made more for sumps or refugiums with no lighting. I use live sand right now with no problems.

    I would have to disagree, that mineral mud contains free available trace elements, but then again... you can dose! ;) That's actually what I plan to use.

    The CaribSea mineral mud is ridiculously expensive!

    Since I last posted, I also use the mineral mud and Fiji Mud by Walt Smith as well! I use it in my 75 gallon refugium for the most part!!! Got it for a cheap priece, so why not try it!!!
