I've understood to basically let the fuge look like a swampy type mess. I've been seeing some strange looking things in there to be sure. Yesterday I saw what looked like a small crustacean with a hunched back. I think/thought I've seen a pic of such a creature like a sand flea or something. Also, while I had the flashlight on I saw a fast moving what appeared to be a snail or slug something other on the back glass... I know pics are appreciated, but there was no way I could get one of the snail/slug looking thing. If the crustacean thing comes to the front glass again I'm sure i could get a pic of it.

Also, there's very small cylindrical looking little animals w/antennae. I know what copepods look like so I know that's not what they are.

There should be a Fuge creature ID guide!

While there's not exactly a Fuge Creature ID section, there is a photo section consisting of inverts, corals, fish, hitchhikers and more. If you check it out, I'm confident you'll find at least some of the creatures you're looking for. :)

Great link, Salsalito! I've seen several of those creepy-crawly things in my fuge, though I try not to look too hard! ;)

slug is probably a stometella. Hunchback is probably an amphipod. Round looking thing is probably an isopod. My guesses based off of description.
