    From what I understand of scallops they will not be a good "cleaner" for the refugium, they require more phyto than your system will provide naturally generally so unless you are feeding them phyto there's a good chance they will just die and if you have to feed them that's just adding more nutrients to the system. They have a pretty dismal survival rate in aquariums AFAIK.

    Yea, I said screw it to them. I have 3 feather dusters, 2 banished cleaner shrimp, and some cheato in it for now. Lights are on from 10pm to 3:15 pm.
