Some of you might remember this little guy and the dilema I had with him..

For details of dilema read the thread below.

For those of you that helped me ID this guy.. Many thanks. Anyways, I was between a rock and hard place.. I had just set up a Solana 34 and bought the Tang (was sold as a hybrid dwarf angel) and I had to decide to upgrade and keep the cool little booger or say farewell. Well.. I'll let the pictures answer what I've decided to do.

When I first bought it it was barely 1 and half inch. Now it is just under 2". He is so cool. He swims right up to my cleaner shrimp and lets him clean him. Doesn't shy away from anything. Even when I have my hand in the tank.

Hopefully, if he doesn't get too big. Its a 75G DT with a 35G sump/fuge. If he does get too big I can always upgrade again!! lol

Still not a 100% sure. But I think it is a mimic tang according to the answers in my other thread.

If 75G is cool long term even better! I won't have room for a bigger tank in my living room. I'd have to sit 2 feet in front of the tv lol.

Most mimic tang begin life looking like a type of dwarf angel (mostly lemonpeels) then as they grow they begin to morph into adults with various shades of yellow/black/brown. Looks like yours is changing.

Stand is almost finished.. Just need to stain, water proof it and skin it. My cree LED fixture came in today!! Picking up a WM MF 181 Skimmer later this week and ordered my return pump, heater along with some plumbing parts!! Should begin getting it wet in about a week or two.

Yeah.. I noticed the leopard pattern was alot lighter when I first got him. The pattern is now getting noticeably darker. Really cool!
