    My Remora skimmer is now 2 weeks in operation. After initially foaming a lot it now settled down and is pulling out quite a bit of waste as it's supposed to. The water is very clear now. I still have to empty the cup twice per day even in the highest possible position. Any ideas how I can reduce the water portion? Or will it just need more break-in time?

    I remember having the same problem when I ran this skimmer. I put the rubber band as low as possible, and I added 2 pieces of air line tubing, slit down the length, to the top ends of the housing.

    Thanks for the idea vankirk,i have a new 1 month old one doing the same thing.Few micro bubbles in the tank,o-ring as low as i can get it,watery skim,need to empty twice a day and i'm pretty stumped myself.
