removing a moray eel ?

whats the best way or easiest way too remove a moray eel from my tank ?

get it to hide in a pipe then take the pipe out.

I had one in my 31 for 8-mounts and then it started to eat my pets so i had to rip the tank a part.

 

considering they think with they're mouths and are pretty blind. I'd say it wouldn't be too hard if you put some food in the tank and tried to catch with a net.

 

Small hook is the sure fire way with out taking the tank down.

 

think im gonna try and bait him out with the pipe method ,,

 

what kind of morray, how big, what size tank is it in, and whats in the tank (amount of live rock / corals)? If I ever wanted to get my 3' zebra eel out of my 180, I would almost definitely have to tear the tank apart to get him out safely.

the eel is about 6 in long,,my tank is a 29 biobube,,had too remove most of my live rock and net him out,,took him to my local fish spot
