Put your fingers around the base and gently move it back and forth, I know that sounds wrong :)

We had to remove one from the bottom of the tank, it took about twenty min or so but my fiance tickled its foot and it slowly let loose.

I never had luck with the ice method - the thinking is it makes them start to move and it never did with me - they just pulled away. The first two sexually sounding posts do work good. The next time you're at your LFS just ask one of them to show you - it's the same method they use to get the carpets off of theirs rocks when someone wants to buy one.

The sexual method works well depending on if you can get your fingers around the foot or not, if its in rockwork or in crevasses, then try pointing a powerhead at it with direct flow. That will really piss it off and it should move within a couple hours. Just make sure you dont BLAST the nem as that can damage it.

While I decide how to handle the previous posts, I just want to remind people this is a 'Family site'. Any future posts that are suggestive in nature will be removed.
