Replacement Bulb Problem

Alright, I finally found a real reason to complain about my Odyssea MH fixture. I managed to get 1 175w 20,000K replacement bulb for it on ebay, but that seller doesn't have any more. Aquatraders is currently out of stock and I'll just keep checking back with them.

Otherwise I am NOT finding any other websites that carry 175w Double Ended bulbs! Specifically 20,000K. I checked all of the 3reef sponsors, and then some.


What would happen if I put a different watt bulb in there? 150w? 200w?


I'd rather not do that, but if worse comes to worse...also does anyone know of any other places that sell 175w DOUBLE ENDED MH bulbs? I want 20,000K. THANKS!

Doesn't seem to be a 175W double ended out there.

Well you can't put a different wattage bulb without changing the ballast It just won't work

Also try MarineMadness Livestock and Lightin at ebay. As to changing the wattage, you could always go lower not higher. If you go higher, you will burn the ballast and ur house down.
