    Hey everyone,

Well, I have two more finals...Spanish 102 and Chem 110 hah. First year of college almost down.

You know what that means dont you? Summer...means working on the tank! My question is...I am thinking of completly reworking the rock stucture of the tank...maybe not all, because some stuff can't be moved...but I want to open up the tank a bit. I can think of a few reasons why this is a bad idea...but does anyone have any opinions on the matter. I dont know how smart changing a 4 year old tank is...

    Thanks guys!

Only thing I can think of is don't mix your sand bed up very much.

Well you will get some horror stories and don't do it I'm sure but if its a DSB ? be careful to not disturb the sand to much under the rocks and break open any black crust.. have plenty of carbon and a good air pump with a couple of good air stones /wooden blocks would be best and just get your hands wet :)

Go for it! Nothing like a little spike to cause some fun and give you something to do! I did it on my 1 year old 30 gallon a while ago and everything went well, I just added some carbon which helped to clear the water faster too.

I would say go for it too. It is fun to open up the tank alittle. It will look like a totally new system when your done. I think it get kinda boring to keep the system the same all the time... But do be carfull with the sand!!

Yup. I think I want to change it around because the colt coral is not as huge as it used to be, it used to connect a lot of rock together, not anymore.
