Well I decided to finally make my tank thread, I have been battling algae for a while but I am winning finally.the new ro/di unit has helped allot.
The tank is a 55 gallon with a 30 gal sump/refuge,it has been up for close to 2 1/2 years, the lights are sundial t5ho.
    the bulbs are 1 x460nm,1x 420nm, 1x 12000 50/50, 1 x10000k.
I have a temporary heater in the tank this winter to help keep the tank stable in temp, I also have a 300w in the sump.
so on with the pics.:) (still trying to get used to this camera)

    Thanks everyone.
that would be a pulsating Xenia. I've tried to get closups of it but my camera washes it out. I just fragged it about 2 weeks ago.growing like a weed.

Took the seahare back yesterday, He was getting a little to big for my tank and knocking stuff over.My LFS gave me 20 in credit so I bought a bunch more snails. As a bonus they accidentally threw in a hermit crab.:)

Well decided that I really don't like the blue on the back so spent most of yesterday scraping the paint off the back carefully.

note to self: make sure you like the color before painted the back of tank..lol

My bother in law owns a vinyl lettering company and I had him cut a black piece to go on the back.
here is a pic without the blue:

    it looks allot different already.
