    do Ricordea Mushrooms sting everything? It stung my Kenya tree and it shriveled and died, which is fine. But know it stung my zoas and this is not cool. :angry:

    Just to add to this, it's always safer to assume corals will sting each other if they get to close. There are some that won't and some that get along better than others but unless you know specifically that two corals will get along you're best off keeping them apart. Coral reefs are pretty hostile places where everything is competing for territory/food/light so they all have their methods for competing for these things so they can stay alive and reproduce!

    how close is too close? lets say for Mushrooms and Palys or Zoas?

    I'm not very familiar with mushrooms but at least an inch or two larger than it's maximum size when it's fully expanded I would think to give it some room to grow, and that's only before it splits. Some mushrooms reproduce like crazy and some are slower growers AFAIK. Same with Zoas although zoas once they get going can spread like crazy.
