    I am wanting to get me a couple of these, but the LFS is selling them at like 60 bucks each. :( Little steep from prices i've seen online. So im looking at ordering some online, im just curious if they ship very well. I've read there are some things that dont ship very well at all.

    Thanks.

    $60 each? if so thats really high. Where are you at? I ordered the from Sea Life Inc. Not only were they really reasonable, his shipping is reasonable. They shipped them on the Reduced rate shipping and I got them 2 days later and they were all just fine. Only thing is i don;t think reduced rate will work in the winter they might get to cold.

    Im in Dallas, TX. The prices at this shop go up and down so much its crazy. one week you'll have Fish for about 30 each, and the next week they'll be 70 each. Maybe im just catching them at off times on the Ricordias, I'll try off one of those sites though.

    Thanks. =)

    That is really high,at least compared to what they go for around here. We usually see them in a group of 4 or 5 on a rock and they wind up being around 25 each, which I still think it a bit high...but...LOL8)

    Are they Florida ricordea or Ricordea yuma? If yuma, what color are they? I've seen some yuma polyps go for alot more than $60 a polyp. If they're just "regular" Florida rics though, I wouldn't pay more than $20 a polyp.

    Its been a few weeks since i've been back to the LFS, but if i remember correctly they were just labled Ricordia Mushrooms. Did not specify florida or Yuma. but the color was not very bright on them almost a very dark orange/brown color, not the pretty ones you see around but that could be due to lighting, they had them in small cups in the bottom of their tank, not under their Halides.

    Well I was going to ask questions about Ricorida's but since this is here, I will toss my input and see what happens. I bought a piece of rock that had one small polyp of ricordia on it over a year ago. The ricordia was smaller than a dime. Now I have a swarm of ricordia that has spawned over 4 different pieces of rock, AND the back glass in my tank. I don't have the beautiful blue's and oranges. However I have about 4 shades of green. The ricordia now covers about the size of a sheet of notebook paper. My question was is this normal to spawn this much? And if I can convince my wife Billy I would be willing to ship you a piece of rock with some on it for the shipping cost. Let me know.
