I had a thread tonight "Kole Tang on it's last legs". Well, its official. I'm calling it. He disappeared into the rocks never to be seen again. He was always a great little guy with a lot of personality, but never quite thrived in the tank. Maybe he had a parasite I couldn't detect. Maybe he just wasn't the right fish for captivity. Never know I guess. But anyway, hes gone. This one really gets me because he was dying and I couldn't help him.

Anyway, I doubt I'll ever figure out what did it, and rant done.

Sorry. Its the worse feeling, I know. You can do everything right and still end up on the losing end.

Sorry for your loss! I've lost my beloved lawnmower blenny quite recently. Watching your favorite fish die is the most frustrating/sad side of this hobby :( ! Take care!

Sorry to hear about your Kole Tang and its demise!
I have had them a couple times and they quickly proceeeded to die. I don't know if it was a culmination of being stressed by other tank mates or the limited food available to the tang, but it never lasted very long, unfortunately as they are a beautiful tang. I have had other species of tangs for over 3 years and still going so go figure...
