So for a while now i always hear this click every so often, its been driving me nuts because i had no idea what it was. Today i figured out the sound is coming from my PC4 on my RKL. i searched for this and i guess the relay is making this sound when turning my heater on and off.
Has anyone had this issue? way to fix it? i may just email Digital Aquatics but ill see if anyone here knows first. Thanks.

Mine clicks...yes it is a relay. Mine is no where near loud enough for me to hear it unless I'm standing at the strip. My tank may be louder than yours however as I run an open top system and remote sump (next to it...no cabinets).

It's not abnormal for relays to click when they receive power. I've used the listen method on my trucks relays to isolate a bad one.

ok good to know, my tank is pretty quiet and the pc4 is on the left side of the stand inbetween the wall and stand, so im assuming this is amplifying the click. ill try moving it to behind the tank to quiet it down.
