RO/DI help?

    My next item to buy for my reef will be a RO/DI unit. What will best suit a reef tank , how many stage unit shoud I get? What brand, where's the best place to buy one ,best price, ect, ect please help. also what brands do you people have and how many stages is your unit?

    i would say atleast a 3 stage with the last stage being a DI
    ive found that works for me

    look at air water and ice .com. A lot of people here use them and i think they may even be a sponsor.

    I bought mine from air water ice and it's great. I got the mity might. It was inexpensive too. (They have pretty good prices on all their units). It is a 3 stage, carbon filter, RO membrane, DI resin. I would def. get at least a three stage with a DI filter. The more filters the better basically. Get one that will suit your needs, the more gallons per day also tends to mean less dissolved solids it removes, but this can be negligible. Hope this helps.

    Typhoon 3 here. It works well. Go for the 75GPD vs. the 150. Price is the same I think. Standard filters, free automatic shutoff valve. I got the float valve for when I'm gone 2-3 days it keeps the water level in the sump level.
