    you could get a dual inline tds meter to measure the water form the ro and then the water from the di so you know when to change each

    Don't waste your money on inline meters. They lack the accuracy or portability/versatility of a good handheld at the same price or less. Plus the handheld gives you a built in digital thermometer too so serves dual functions.

    mine seems pretty accurate.....i just like testing the other stages instead of just the output

    You can and do test all stages with a handheld and much more accurately since it is temperature compensated unlike the inline.
    All you have to do is install a tee and bal valve with ashort piece of 1/4" tube wherever you want to test. Compare the two and you will throw the inline away guaranteed.

    With the handheld you can test your tap water, RO only water, RO/DI, your ATO water, the LFSwater, bottled water, the neighbors etc, anywhere you want. No comparison.
