It depends on if you want it permanently added to system. I don't have mine perm. on my system.

Mine sits under the kitchen sink for when I need it. One tube has an attachment for the faucet, one is waste water that is diverted down the drain, and the other is the good water tube that I place in a 5 gal bucket.

Some people rig theirs into their laundry room water supply, but I won't be able to help you there.

Wow it seems confusing setting this up.

Does anyone know of a guide or something on the best way to set up an RO system?

(This is HORTON16 but my friend is over and I was logged in his account)

They're not confusing at all. There's 3 tubes: 1 inlet, 1 waste water, 1 RO water. If you got one then there should be a guide that came with it.

I also just bought from airwaterice and got the might mite, 50 gpd system. Only $100 and I set it up in 5 min. It is meant to be a portable system, comes on a little "sled" like device, but can also be mounted on the wall. All I needed to do was cut the tubeing and push into the connectors. All outlets and inlets were labeled so it was very easy. I got it yesterday and already producing RO water. I had a problem with high nitrates in my tap water, 20 ppm. I tested the water and 0 ppm, I'm very excited to start changing out my tank water.
