Yes that was shipping included. 32.00 to ship + tax. I couldn't find anything lower then 300 for that particular make and model.

You mean, the unit was about $268, plus the $32 to ship, or it was about $332 total?

Can't wait to get it. I think I'm going to take pictures and post a thread on the install.

The unit the original poster linked to appears to be a very basic 75 GPD RO/DI. I have my reservations though since the vendor does not list important information like what RO membrane it includes, this is very critical information since its the workhorse of the system. The state 1 micron prefilter and carbon block which are good micron ranges but again no other information such as manufacturer or chlorine ratings. There are many different qualities on the market.
Same with the DI resin, all it says is color changing but what manufacturer, blend and rating?
It does not include important things like a TDS meter or pressure gauge and it does not state what type of flow restrictor it has.

Too many questions for me which need to be answered before I would even consider it, remember, no secrets no surprises.

The Spectrapure MaxCap is without a doubt the Cadillac of the industry, I have owned three versions over the years and now own the MaxCap UHE ultra low waste 1:1 system.

By the time you get the TDS meter (basically required to know when you need to do maintenance, $35 from TFG), and the pressure gauge (required so you know whether you need a booster pump, $12 from TFG), you may as well get the Spectrapure, which not only gives you those in the package, but prefilters rated at .5 microns instead of 5 microns (far better quality), and a 90GPD RO membrane.

The filter guys RO/DI with a dual tds, auto shut off and pressure meter comes to 190.00 before shipping.

A similar set up from BRS is 174.00 at 175.00 you get free shipping. The BRS auto shut off option includes a float valve. This is the one I went with.

It doesn't have DI. I believe you need that.
