Ok so if I get a ro water maker and I make water today and it goes into a holding tank that is food grade. Do I need something in there to agitate the water while it is waiting to be used. Because the holding tank will be down stairs I will make what I need for the week then pump some upstairs to the twenty gallon holding tank to top off the sump each day. Any and all help. Thanks in advance.

Personally, I only provide continuous movement, for my salt container.

No, when you aerate RO/DI water it attracts TDS. There is no reason to aerate or agitate it until you mix up new salt water and are ready to use it which i do about an hour ahead of a water change.

I store my water for a months and never had an issue. I have two 10 gallon Igloo water coolers along with six 1 gallon water jugs. This way once I'm done with 1 gallon jugs I just fill them up from the water cooler. One jug is easier to store by the tank then the big water cooler

I use a 35g rubbermaid to hold ro/di. i do 5g wc weekly and use it as top off and the only trouble i have had was with not keeping it covered and crap falling, flying, landing or what not. I ended up having to scrap the entire container once due to it having floaties and I no longer trusted it.
