    fresh is no easier when talking about cichlids. cichlids are very picky fish, and each species have very different temperments. u really have to pay attention to what u feed them and make sure they're getting a proper diet or else you'll just end up with DULL fish, but if they're fed correctly, they're crazy bright. alot of people thought mine were saltwater they were so bright.
