    I posted before, but I didn't get any answers. Does a RO unit require the tank? There is a guy selling them without the tank for about $40 less than with the tank. Will it still work without it?

    I will work without the tank, the tank is used as a reservoir. Just a place to store an amount of water that is already filtered. If the tank is not there then the water will trickle out pretty slow unless you put a high pressure pump on it and force it though the membranes.
