hi my 50 gal per day unit has stopped working properly. there seems to be too much water going through the waste pipe, so much so the water level has dropped an inch in the carbon chamber.

if i flush the membrane it rights itself but when i put it back onto production the thing goes crazy and all the water goes out the waste

    Any suggestions?

Hi sorry the unit is only a month old!

It has the 5 micron filter which then leads into the carbon filter then up to the mebrane and up to the di unit.

i think it just may need taking apart to make sure there is no build up of something inside...

When was the last time you changed the 5 micron filter, and the carbon filter. Odds are that is the root of you problem.

If the thing is only a month old, something is wrong, this shouldn't be happening. hmmm...  I'm with you Levi, I'd take it apart section by section to try and trace the problem down.

just finished reasembly and it is all working fine now!!! did not find anything wrong but it now works???? i can only assume i dislodged something or that the mains water supply was a little low when i first tried to use it.
