Hi guys i just got my rodi unit that is 50 gpd. I hooked it up and it is filtering. I checked the tds and it is 011 and 012. Is that good enough for my reef tank that i am about to start ?

It usually takes about 5G of water through the unit to get it ready. you should throw out the first 5G. TSD should be zero

You won't get 0 TDS if you get a RO only unit. You sure you got a RODI?

An RO/DI should produce 0 TDS water. An RO only if it is working correctly should remove 90 to 98% of the tap water TDS levels. It takes the DI to get it to 0.
