i just want to add a warning to all the new reefers or tank builders...

    DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS!

just in case some of the newer reefers skimmed threw this thread and saw 11 days to a stocked aquarium... this was not a new build! so by all means do not add livestock to a new aquarium after only 1 1/2 weeks!!!!! DO NOT DO THIS

I used all of my water, sand, and rock from two established aquariums and less than 50% new water a little bit of new rock...

I just don't want anyone to get the wrong idea about getting a build process done this fast. so please please please do not do this unless you have some experience

with that said i have not had time to do a video update and i'm sorry about that but hopefully will get some time today or tomorrow

Just wanted to share a couple pix of my purple anemone eating some krill the new current has his tentacles exposing his mouth so I took the opportunity to snap some pix

My flame hawk loves to sneak in a lot of my pix or some reason haha

oldfish: yes he does should have named him waldo for where's waldo but that's my engineer goby's name because we never know where he is till feeding time

camkha: thanks and yes it is cool i love that pic because it shows how the tentacles are somewhat transparent close to the body you can tell

and yes i just thought i'd mention the 11 days because i know there's a lot of people that google or just read w/o posting and didn't want someone to kill a bunch of fish and waste money and never try the hobby again

    thanks!

and if anyones intrested i just posted a short vid of my valentini saddle puffer
the day i introduced him to the 40g

    Exactly 2 weeks...

I have to say, I'm the guy that set out to prove u can run a saltwater reef tank without a refugium and protein skimmer and all that... And I did for almost two years..

But now that this new tank is up with a refugium I love it!!!

I have a fish I don't want or like, and it's in the refugium!

I just fragged some mushrooms! Gies where the frags are? In the refugium!

I have some nice mystery macro algae that no one seems to know what it is yet everyone wants some guess where I put the small leaves that I glued to some rock? In the refugium!!

Not to mention I had a shower caddy that I kept some chateo in.. It's all in the refugium!!

    What's the point ?

U don't need a refugium ! But wow it makes life better/easier and it's way better for the tank!

Vids to come soon please subscribe and comment. Pretty please! YouTube in my signature. Thanks!
