    Hi,

I currently have a 55 gallon that has the following fish residing in it, I want to hear your thoughts on an addition of a 6 line wrasse to help control the pod population that has exploded.

    1 - Algae Blenny
    1 - Neon Goby
2 - Ocellaris Clownfish (mated pair)
    1 - Cherub Angle
    1 - Yellow Tailed Damsel

    Thanks!

Six Lines can get kinda nasty in heavily loaded tanks but all your fish are pretty boisterous. The real question is whether your Cherub ir acute, obtuse, or right.

I think it would be fine as long as you don't plan to add any other fish. As ingtar said, six-lines can get violent. The advantage you have is that you are adding it last. Make sure to keep it well fed to reduce aggression toward tankmates. This doesn't always work, sometimes they turn on other fish for no reason.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for a reef safe pod eater? Maybe a Dottyback? I do have 2 Peppermint Shrimp so maybe not a Dottyback?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
All of my past clowns and damsels have been active pod eaters. Why do you think you have so many pods?

Maybe you need to back off feeding your fish a little and see if they decide that eating pods is good.

Most Halichoeres species would be better suited but most get pretty big. I think a sixline could work best for you, and they are nicer than dottybacks.

Thanks, I'll try cutting back on feeding and see if they develop an appetite for them.
